The UD Edition variant of the 1997 Mazda RX-7 was added to Ultimate Driving on May 29th, 2020, as a Trophy Road event special. This vehicle was obtained from Victory Road from May 30th to June 1st, 2020. Currently, it is now available for all players to purchase for 145,000. In-game it's known as the 1997 Odawara Diazi - UD Edition.

- The Mazda RX-7 in Initial D did not have rear wheel covers.
- This vehicle was made famous in the Initial D anime series, showing the car's strong ability to drift around tight mountain roads, its rotary engine and its affordability to the market.
- This vehicle will likely become a troll vehicle due to its riced look and wheel covers, along with its powerful engine, high top speed and decent revenue for a small amount of Gems.
- Much to the dismay of the weeaboo community, this car has absolutely nothing to do with Initial D whatsoever.
- The UD RX7's bodykit and wheel cover is reminiscent of the Scoot RX-7 FD bodykit in real life which was very popular during the 1990s in Japan.
