The 1952 GMC 9300 is a pickup truck that was added on November 21, 2018 (just in time for U.S. Thanksgiving). This vehicle is the oldest model added so far and is somewhat fast, able to run at a top speed of 97 mph (155 km/h). This vehicle has a five-speed transmission (fourth for overdrive), a short bed and can seat 2-3 people.
A unique feature of this truck is the rims - the stock rims are fully enclosed. The vehicle also has non-functional fog lights (which work as part of the headlights).
- This vehicle may not drive up steep hills as well in automatic mode. If you put the transmission in manual mode and keep it in first gear, this should solve the problem by running the engine at the rev limiter. Activate hazard flashers while driving up a steep hill as you will be limited to about 30 mph (48 km/h).
- Most 1950s trucks with stock parts can usually manage about 45-50 mph (72-80 km/h), making it faster than in real life.
Did you know? Edit
- This vehicle is the first 1950s model to be added.
- Despite being much older than the Smart Fortwo, it can drive roughly as fast.
